Hand painted salt prints

Hand painted photographs are amazing for me, each one put in evidence the lie behind photography as an “objective” medium. It gives colour to that cultural lie.

Also is an incredible medium to mix arts. I’m not a great colorist, I lack the talent and patience to make realist photographs and I lack also of the guts to run real risks in the manipulation of the photographic piece (at least for now)-

My approach is inspired in the work of my step brother Yuluts Yonda, an amazing photographer (really an incredible portraitist) and how he mix techniques in his work as a painter.

Ok the pieces are salt printes painted by hand employing grease pencil.
