From Carmelo Blásquez, salt print over gum bichromate

Part of my series of experiments mixing techniques, it’s a shame that the scanner can´t reproduce the details of theses pieces. There’s a subtle metallic shine on it,and it changes of tonality if you move the image.

I love Carmelo’s works as it’s obvious and can only thank him to let me to reproduce some of his art.

I’ve employed durex paper for these image, he paper suffer grea damage from the gum process (the wash) and it make it even more interesting. Each piece is like an old painting fragile and with the evidence of the pass of time over it.
