Inspiration: National galleries of Scotland

History is the main inspiration and source of references for every artist. For me the common archives of different countries have been an amazing resource for ideas and to display me that I’m not original at all and that’s simply amazing.

THE MINSTREL BOY
by Thomas Moore
Hear the Melody

“The Minstrel Boy to the war is gone
In the ranks of death you will find him;
His father’s sword he hath girded on,
And his wild harp slung behind him;”
Land of Song!” said the warrior bard,
“Tho’ all the world betrays thee,
One sword, at least, thy rights shall guard,
One faithful harp shall praise thee!” ”

Scotland is a land I love for many reasons and to see works from this people is always a pleasure.
